First of all, before we start today, one question about our society:

What happens to people who put their heads into sand and keep them there ?

Simple answer: The upcoming sand storm will bury their bodies too.

So is it the truth that makes people free or, if they don't [fully] accept it,

do they become more scared and rather believe the more convenient

lie instead ? 

Is it the logic behind these facts that frightens Americans, is it the real danger behind the false collapse of communism that makes the truth about it so un-welcome and therefore, at the same time, so rejected by so many and only accepted by so very few ?

Are we protected from communism ?

In Part 2 of this analysis we have learned about the Civic Institute of Prague, and about the "dissidents" and "true anti-communists" running it, also about their pro-communist connections.

Today, we are to learn about the strategic operations how these people

operate and what it means for America's future.

But first of all, before we get to these particular operations, we have to also mention the Christian Academy of Prague. It is important to note that the Civic Institute and Christian Academy have their headquarters in the same building [former Catholic Church Convent], on the same floor next to each other.

Their members are in friendly collegial relationship, as if there was no competition between these two "private" think tanks at all..... and most importantly as if they were both in agreement spiritually as well

[not according to what these groups both claim....].

Both groups have known communists and pro-Moscow people as financial sponsors, including people with ties to China, and also to people with communist and alleged KGB-GRU past....

It is therefore important to read first who these people are

and who they pretend to be.

But let us consider the following data:

11-28-1989, that is AFTER the so called "collapse of communism"

in Czechoslovakia, in one of its articles we can read the following:

3) Top priority and essential tasks for our STB activities

[after the "collapse of communism" - editor's note].

Section b) Operations:

..... through our influential network subdue attempts of the reactionary church officials to activate political clericalism that's supportive of the right wing opposition movements and groups.

 

We can report that also the Christian Academy has some serious ties to the "former" communist regime, which of course makes the whole purpose of these so called "pro-freedom think tanks" highly questionable.....

What they do and what they say...

The strategy of communism is clear and so everything that protects this strategy from being recognized in the West, is of great importance to the communists.

These strategies include most of all destructive methods of our pro-freedom oriented thinking, and of course our Christian values and beliefs are targeted

as well.

One of such operations involve the use of strategy which is already described in the statements of Soviet leader [and KGB General] Mikhail Gorbachov

in his December 15, 1987 speech:

"The attack on religions is at the core of the revolution.

There must be no let-up in the war against religion because as long as religion exists, Communism cannot prevail. We must intensify the obliteration of all religions wherever they are being practiced

or taught."

When we analyze Gorbachov's statement, we can clearly see that the words

"no let-up" mean that these anti-religion operations are already under way.

It is therefore of no surprise that these operations supposed to present

"new ideas, new values" for Christianity, namely which will undermine

the traditional Christian values at their core and change the thinking and

education of future generations.

So the imminent interest of these communist security services,

to gain control over minds of Christian people, is obvious.

Advice, consultancy and expertise for the churches [link has been disabled since]

Individual bishops and the Czech Bishops' Conference as a whole has approached the CA, asking for expertise, research and processing various issues important for the church as well as society.

 

This kind of consultancy has developed into a special service which the CA offers to the church representatives. The Czech Bishops' Conference has asked the CA to put together the document on the social issues in the CR 'Peace and All Good'.

 

Similarly, the CA has taken part in analyzing the polarization of opinions within the Czech Catholic Church and in the preparation of an internal seminar on the same topic for the bishops' conference.

 

The CA has co-operated in the preparation of the legislation regulating the relations between the state and the church as well as in the preparation of an agreement between the Holy See and the Czech Republic.

 

Some of the CA members has participated in various advisory and consultative church committees, nowadays mainly connected with the Plenary Council of the Catholic Church in the Czech Republic.

 

Co-operation and dialogue with other European partners

In the years 2002 - 2003 the CA participated in a project run by the association of the French Christian intellectuals Confrontations. The project's name was 'Research into Common Cultural Foundations for Building Europe' (also called 'White Book').

 

Seven European countries - Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Germany, Poland and Sweden – were involved in the project. The CA, as a partner organization of the French Social Weeks (Semaine sociales de France), was involved in preparation of the meeting of European Christians in Lille, France, 2004.

Ackermann-Gemeinde, Renovabis, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Union Stiftung from the Saarland, Germany, Centre for Study of Democracy and Culture, Academy of Sciences Czech Republic and its institutes [ed. note - "formerly" STB foreign espionage 1st directorate, files never declassified....], the Bishop Conference USA, Protestant Theological Faculty and Catholic Theological Faculty at Charles University in Prague, St. Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology at Palacky University in Olomouc, the Faculty of Theology at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, The Union of Catholic Women, the Academic Weeks Civil Association, the Civic Institute, the College of Journalism, the Institute of Communication.

Education of both lay people and ministers

This task has been fulfilled by regular lecturing in the individual sections and local groups. There has been series of lectures and individual lectures on current issues held for the general public.

 

Among the lecturers were: Cardinals Edward Cassidy, Franz König, Joseph Ratzinger, Christoph Schönborn, Walter Kasper, Tomáš Špidlík; Bishops Andreas Laun, Egon Kapellari, Josef Homeyer, Helmut Krätzl; several theologians, sociologists and philosophers from Europe, USA and Latin America, i.e. Michael Novak, Ernst-Ludwig Ehrlich, John T. Pawlikowski, Anselm Grün, Robert Fulghum, Jon Sobrino, Dietmar Mieth, Karl-Josef Kuschel, Miklós Tomka, Paul M. Zulehner, Manfred Spieker, Tomasz Weclawski.

 

The CA with the Chrysalis Ministries, a US educational organization, also held two very popular seminars for Catholic priests (in Olomouc and Plzeň, 1997) and a seminar for Christians in leading positions in politics and state administration.

[Ed. note - I'd like to know very much who they are, don't know anybody like that......not in the politics and CZ Government.....].

The CA has also been involved, together with the Defence Ministry, in the training of military chaplains in the last few years.

 

Are you interested how the Catholic Church in her social teachings takes stand to public affairs of today ? What is her relationship to the modern ideologies of socialism, liberalism and capitalism ?

 

Where are the ideological backgrounds of the contemporary relativity of the moral and spiritual values ?  How to understand such terms as just wages, subsidizing, just war, pro-family politics, and what the terms mean as freedom of conscience or religious freedom, separation of Church and State and human rights ? Do the generally binding principles of conduct exist, and if yes, how do they suppose to be presented in the state legislation ?
